26 Amazing Historic Abandoned Structures in Oregon

Spread the love

Oregon’s fascinating abandoned structures will likely awe anybody who finds them. These buildings are chock-full of stories, mysteries, and history. There is always a tale to tell behind those walls, whether or not we are aware of the residents or the events that took place there. These structures may be discovered when surfing the web or on fantastic picture-sharing websites like Flickr.

These magnificent buildings seem frozen in time; some are still immaculate despite being abandoned for many years. A school in Grass Valley, a charming farmhouse between Gervais and Aumsville, and a fascinating homestead in Beech Creek where the Carson family lived in the late 1800s are just a few of Oregon’s most stunning abandoned structures. Several additional lovely abandoned buildings are also likely to attract you in addition to these.

The Four Horsemen Hotel is one such structure that served as a lodging from 1930 to 1958 for miners working at the Blue Ridge and other surrounding cinnabar mines. On location in Blue Ridge, it is now vacant. A Victorian mansion in eastern Oregon, halfway between The Dalles and Dufur, is another stunning building that attracts photographers from all over the Pacific Northwest. It is as lovely as ever.

This essay was made possible by photographs of these stunning structures taken by photographers and Abandoned Oregon via Facebook. Exploring these buildings may be thrilling because they are rich in history.
