Friendly Puppy Knows Exactly How To Amuse Passengers On Long Flight

Huxley and his mother were settling into their seats for his inaugural flight, from London to Ibiza, when the little pup grew restless.

“He was seated next to me, but he entered one of his moods, which he tends to do when I don’t give him enough attention,” recounted Ursula Daphne Aitchison, Huxley’s mother, to The Dodo.

Deciding to venture out, Huxley left his mother’s side and took a seat next to the gentleman in front of them, who was more than delighted to welcome his new furry companion. The pup was perfectly content, enjoying the company of his newfound friend, completely ignoring his mother—until he caught wind of her opening a snack.

“He swiftly changed his demeanor upon hearing me munching on my crisps,” Aitchison chuckled.

Huxley attempted to sneak a taste by sticking his head between the seats, but he couldn’t quite manage it. His fellow passengers couldn’t help but burst into laughter at the comical faces he pulled.

Aitchison eventually shared pictures of Huxley’s airplane escapades on Facebook, where he promptly gained even more notoriety.

“Guys I can’t stop laughing 😂😂😂,” Aitchison posted on Facebook.

Even though he couldn’t reach his mother’s snack, Huxley continued to regale his mother and the rest of the flight with his amusing expressions until he grew tired of it and returned to making friends with everyone around him.

“He spent a good 30 minutes in that seat; the man beside him mentioned he was an excellent passenger, and the man across the aisle was taking selfies with him,” Aitchison recounted. “Huxley kept offering his paw to hold. He brought a lot of joy to people, and the man next to me even asked to take a photo of him to send to his daughter.”

For most of the flight, Huxley kept his fellow passengers entertained. With such an adorable pup to admire and interact with, there’s no doubt the flight seemed to pass in the blink of an eye.
