Jack White Criticizes Trump After White House Calls Him ‘Washed-Up’
|Washington, D.C., Aug. 21 — Musician Jack White publicly criticized former President Donald Trump and his administration after the White House communications director labeled him a “washed-up loser.”

The dispute began Monday when White, former frontman of The White Stripes, posted on Instagram criticizing the new gold decorations in the Oval Office. He described the redesign as “vulgar” and compared it to “a professional wrestler’s dressing room,” while also referencing Trump’s plans to host a UFC fight on the White House lawn during America’s 250th anniversary celebrations.
On Tuesday, White House communications director Steven Cheung responded in a statement to The Daily Beast, calling White “a washed-up, has-been loser posting drivel on social media” and accusing him of disrespecting the Oval Office.
On Wednesday, White took to Instagram with an extensive post, labeling Trump as “a lowlife fascist,” “a conman,” and “an unsuccessful promoter of Trump Steaks, Trump Vodka, and Trump Water.” He accused the former president and his team of “exploiting the American public” and stated, “No rational person could defend this lowlife fascist.”
White also targeted Trump’s aides, including Cheung and former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, claiming they were “disguising his fascism as patriotism while spreading hatred and division across the nation every day.”

He noted that he rarely speaks publicly about politics but warned that Trump posed “a threat not only to the United States but to the world at large,” emphasizing that he did not want to be “part of a silent minority like in 1930s Germany.”
Cheung addressed White’s comments in a statement to Fox News Digital, stating, “Trump. Liberals like him are so predictable and easily provoked. It’s funny to realize we occupy space rent-free in his small, decayed brain.”
