Louise Glover, 41, became Playboy’s “Model of the Year” in 2006 and lived a life of pure luxury living at the iconic Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles rent-free.

At the time she partied with A-listers Leonardo DiCaprio Matthew Perry, and Paris Hilton.

However, her life started to spiral out of control in 2010 when she had cardiac arrest after a breast implant operation and ended up in the hospital for five weeks.

Today, the British model finds herself living in an $80 tent in Reading, England, as she contemplates her uncertain future with winter approaching.

In an candid interview with The Sun, Glover said, “I don’t have any family to fall back on.” Having grown up in foster care, she continued, “I’m trying to stay positive and make the best of things, but it’s tough. I need to get out of this situation soon-especially before the cold weather hits.”

Her new home consists of a small stove, a pair of hot water bottles to keep her warm, and an unyielding hopefulness.

“In some ways, I feel more at peace now- I have fewer things to stress about,” she related.
“There have been magical moments too. The other night, I was wrapped up in my sleeping bag watching shooting stars.”

Despite financial struggles, Glover won’t budge on compromising her values by starting to strip or opening an explicit OnlyFans account-instead, she rebuilds with a new crop of personal training clients and a dog-walking business.

At 20, the sparks flew, and Glover’s modeling career was ignited; soon, international success followed. Often spoken of in the same breath as American model Carmen Electra, she soon found herself in the U.S. posing for Playboy and living in Hefner’s mansion.

Glover reflected, “It was an amazing time, almost like living in another world. I didn’t fully appreciate it back then, but I was surrounded by some of the biggest stars.”

This $100 million Playboy Mansion was notorious for ultra-luxurious parties with A-list celebrities, and among the most memorable, Glover remembered the one where she had her body painted and danced while Snoop Dogg performed.

Despite the hedonistic lifestyle, however, Glover speaks very affectionately of Hefner, calling the man kind and respectful. “I adored the other Playboy models; we were like a family. And Hugh was always a true gentleman,” she related.

After her health scare in 2010, Glover turned to personal training as a way to get a fresh start. Complications from her breast surgery gave her septicemia, leading to the cardiac arrest.

“That was a turning point for me,” she said. “I started focusing on fitness and lifestyle modeling.” During the height of her career, she had sponsorship deals with major brands like Nike.

But thanks to the concurring cost-of-living crisis in the UK, Glover’s personal training business has gotten hard, which is barely struggling to keep her financially afloat.

“It’s more difficult now that I’m older; the modeling opportunities aren’t as available as they once were,” she said. “I’d love to get into presenting, and I still do some promotional work, but I’ll never do anything explicit.”
