Blake Lively Wears Britney Spears’ Iconic Dress to ‘It Ends With Us’ Premiere: “It Belongs in the Smithsonian”
Blake Lively donned the very dress Britney Spear wore during the premiere of her movie, It Ends With Us. Blake took to Instagram and penned that Britney is that queen who made everyone feel the urge to sparkle. She said that Britney means so much to her and many millennial girls.
Well, Blake’s dress is special because it is the one Britney wore at a Versace fashion show in 2002. It has flowers and bright colors. Blake said it was lucky to wear Britney’s dress, and that the dress just should be placed in a museum.
Blake chose this dress since it fitted with her movie character, Lily Bloom. She wants to open a flower shop and gets entangled in a love triangle.
Many fans were very excited to see Blake doing a tribute to Britney, especially after Britney’s memoir, The Woman in Me, was published. It chronicled Britney’s life from her time with the Mickey Mouse Club to her very publicized battle over conservatorship.
