Katy Perry Reacts to Orlando Bloom’s Viral Moment with Kim Kardashian
A recent viral photo of Orlando Bloom apparently admiring the figure of Kim Kardashian has gone viral, which his fiancée, Katy Perry, took in good humor. This snapshot was taken during the Kering Caring for Women Dinner on September 9, which saw the appearance of both celebrities.
During a visit to The Elvis Duran Show, Perry explained the picture of herself with Bloom standing behind her, his eyes fixed on Kardashian. “It’s you taking a photo with Kim Kardashian, and Orlando is staring at her butt,” Duran said, with a laugh. And instead of being jealous, Perry replied, “I approve,” completely unbothered.
When Duran brought up the so-called controversy about the photo, Perry asked, “So wait, what’s the controversy?” This would suggest that she took the whole thing innocently and nothing more but media hype. She later added, “Oh great! Count that click, honey,” which shows she did not care one bit about the fuss online regarding that picture.
Perry’s and Bloom’s relationship has faced many ups and downs, including separating for an entire year in 2017, which Perry defined as a time that really helped them. Speaking of their experience, she said, “We weren’t really in it from day one,” calling out the important self-work both did during the separation.
Ever since rekindling their romance, the two have remained committed to each other, and they even have a daughter together, born in 2020 and named Daisy. Perry further said they often go to couples therapy to work out how to have a healthy relationship-a very healthy thing for relationship dynamics, if I do say so myself.
From the moment the topic of the viral photo led to Perry’s upcoming appearance at the VMAs, it was as crystal clear as water that the two are very much into each other, notwithstanding all the public judgment on them.
