Sharon Osbourne Surprises Fans With Her Appearance, Says She Can’t Gain Weight After Using Ozempic
|Sharon Osbourne, 72, recently stepped out wearing a loose white top and cream-colored pants, but what really caught people’s attention was how thin she looked. Many fans said she looked so different they could hardly recognize her.

This isn’t the first time Sharon has spoken about how her body has changed. In an interview last year, she said she had used Ozempic, a medicine often used for weight loss. Even though she stopped using it, Sharon said it seems to have changed her body for good.
“I just can’t gain weight now,” she explained. “No matter how much I eat, I stay the same.” She believes she may have gone too far with the drug and that it might have affected her metabolism permanently. Reports say she lost about 42 pounds in just four months.

Sharon later tried to gain back some weight for health reasons, but she said it didn’t work. “I need to put on about 10 pounds, but my body won’t change,” she shared. After years of trying to look perfect through plastic surgery and other treatments, she says she’s done with all of it.
“I’m finished,” Sharon said. “I can’t have more surgery. My skin can’t take it. No more fillers, no more Botox.”

Sharon has openly talked about the cosmetic work she’s had over the years, like facelifts, breast implants, and Botox.
She said that the pressure to look a certain way pushed her to keep changing her appearance, but she now regrets going so far.
Experts say that people who struggle with mental health, like body image issues or depression, are much more likely to become addicted to plastic surgery. They often believe changing their looks will fix how they feel inside, but it usually doesn’t help in the long run.

Even though Sharon has stopped getting cosmetic treatments, the effects of past surgeries are still noticeable. Some people online have even accused her of using too many filters in her photos. One photo with her grandson sparked a lot of comments, with people saying she looked airbrushed—especially when compared to her hands and feet.
Despite the criticism, Sharon stands out from other celebrities by being honest about everything she’s gone through. “I’m not sure I’ll ever love how I look,” she told The Guardian. “But I’ve accepted it. This is me now. I’ve learned my lesson.”

Ozempic, the medication Sharon used, has gained a lot of attention for helping people lose weight. It was first created to help people with type 2 diabetes by lowering blood sugar levels and reducing appetite. Later, in 2021, a stronger version of the drug was approved in the U.S. to help with weight management.
The company that makes Ozempic, Novo Nordisk, has become incredibly successful. In fact, it’s now worth more than Denmark’s entire economy. But the drug does come with risks, like possible thyroid cancer and other side effects—some of which are not talked about enough in the media.

Sharon says doctors still don’t understand exactly what Ozempic did to her body. “Maybe it’s just age,” she said. “As you age, it’s normal to get smaller and lose some weight.”
