Jasmine James, who goes by the online handle CutiePieSensei, is a cosplayer who might pass for a real- life chameleon. This amazing young lady can turn into any figure she imagines, and her complex costume creations will astound you.
The artist claims she began cosplaying in college after hearing about it from her then-boyfriend (now husband). “After he informed me about the con, we were scheduled to go together, but I got sick.” In an interview with Bored Panda, Jasmine revealed, “So he brought me some mementos back from the dealer room.” “I had no idea you could buy anime-related merchandise, so I was really excited!” We were later going across our college campus when we came upon MomoCon, which had begun at our school. That was all it took for me to want to get started with cosplay after experiencing it for myself.” The woman said that she enjoys being creative and that cosplaying is another way for her to express herself.

And don’t expect to complete such a costume in an afternoon; according to the artist, the majority of them take around a month to complete.
“It’s a tie between Wonder Woman and Black Panther Shuri for my fave. When asked about her favorite cosplay, Jasmine stated, “Both characters are simply so clever and powerful, and I usually receive fantastic comments from not just other ladies in the community, but also parents and their kids!” “For people to see you portray a character with whom they actually relate and recognize that character’s attributes in you are such a humbling experience.” In those costumes, I get so much love, encouragement, and support.”

Jasmine claims that cosplaying isn’t her full-time profession; she works as a concept artist for a video game studio. “I try to keep the “real world” me distinct from the cosplayer me,” says the artist. “However, I think my talents in both cosplay and art benefit me on either side, and it’s very interesting to see the influences of my cosplay on my work.” “I don’t believe I’d ever work as a full-time cosplayer since art is something I’ve always wanted to do and I’m so lucky to be able to do it!”
Fear should not deter you from cosplaying, according to the artist. “Just because you don’t look precisely like a character doesn’t mean you can’t embody them and what they represent.” I used to believe that I could only cosplay characters with brown complexion. “It felt SO freeing when I finally stepped out of that box,” Jasmine remarked. “Focus on having a good time rather than allowing others to decide who you can be.”
