This Is How Abandoned Theatres Around The Globe Looks Like Now
|We have featured abandoned places from various countries. These places vary from train stations to mansions to towns to factories and many more. Sometimes, these places make us wonder why the people evacuated such beautiful and costly areas while some places couldn;t have been abandoned anymore sooner.
People leave these due to various reasons. Sometimes the premise becomes too costly to keep running, while sometimes, they are too deteriorated or damaged and no longer usable. Most of the time, they exude spooky feelings, but there are also somewhere it looks way too beautiful to be abandoned by humanity.
There are also stories about how these spots become world famous tourist destinations or exploration sites; and more stories about how people pulled back some of the gorgeous yet deserted locations back into our hands. Photographers, too, play a significant role in opening people’s eyes to see these splendid locations and taking in how haunted-looking or incredibly beautiful these venues look.
Today’s article is inspired by the series Innuendo Teatro by Dimitri, a France based photographer. Famously known as Jahz and his website is jahzdesign.com. He’s a freelance graphic designer who’s inspired by the glory of abandoned places in decline. And he’s on a voyage to travel the earth looking for such spots which he can capture.
Dimitri Bourriau, driven by his love for historical yet architectural remains, now has more than a dozen thousand followers on his Instagram account. He posts regularly, and all those on his Instagram are people who love his drive and work.
And we forgot to mention what exactly’Innuendo Teatro’ is. It is a series of photographs captured by this French photographer, Dmitri Bourriau, about abandoned movie theaters worldwide. He has been traveling since 2013, hoping to find new places that are away from humans warmth and touch for years. So far, his work of art has not been disappointing because every photo he uploads to his Facebook, Instagram, or website is truly glamorous.
