Together with the community, the school staff buys their beloved custodian his dream car
The community at Unity Grove Elementary School and the staff members’ acts of generosity have touched people’s hearts worldwide. The school’s committed custodian Chris Jackson is well-recognized for his helpfulness and upbeat attitude. But despite his cheerful demeanour, he occasionally had trouble getting to work because he didn’t own a car.
Jackson, who is well-liked by the staff and student body, frequently relies on others for rides or public transportation. But occasionally, these alternatives were not available, so he was forced to walk to work. Due to his financial situation and a bad patch he went through in the summer of 2021, saving money to purchase a car proved complicated.
The sympathetic teachers and staff at Unity Grove Elementary School felt it was time to change Jackson’s life after realizing the ongoing battle he faced. They pleasantly delighted Jackson in August 2021 by giving him the magnificent Chevy Impala of his dreams. The car cost more than $1,500 and had 76,000 miles on it. The school contacted the neighbourhood to raise money for this present, and they happily contributed to making it possible.

Jackson remained motionless when a staff member handed him the automobile keys and said, “It’s yours.” He constantly complimented the instructors and employees of the institution after the initial shock subsided. Jackson said, “I never would have dreamt of something like this,” as the surprise act overjoyed him. This is mind-blowing.
