JoJo Siwa had a massive epiphany about her sexuality on Celebrity Big Brother UK

The singer, who has previously come out as a lesbian, now considers herself queer. She shared the news with her roommate and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Danny Beard.

“I always knew I was a lesbian, but being here made me realize—no, I’m actually queer,” JoJo said. “I’m changing letters, and that’s okay!”

She acquired the newfound sensitivity after getting close to fellow housemate, straight Love Island contestant Chris Hughes. The two of them were snapped cuddling in bed on many occasions. On one comical instance, Chris even requested JoJo to lick chocolate from his shorts—and she willingly obliged.

JoJo, who is in a relationship with someone named Kath Ebbs, also expressed her gender identity. She noted that she does not fully identify as a man or a woman but identifies most with non-binary individuals.

I’ve met many women and men, but I don’t feel like either,” she said. “Non-binary people feel the most like me, but I’m still figuring it out.”. Her mother, Jessalynn Siwa, came out in support on TikTok and commented, “What you’re feeling inside is okay. Talk about it when you’re ready. No pressure—just love.”.

JoJo’s time on the show has not been without incident. Actor Mickey Rourke made insulting remarks, saying he’d “vote the lesbian out” and using a slur. JoJo was defended by Chris Hughes, and Rourke was later removed from the show for his behavior. JoJo cried following what occurred but also thanked Chris for defending her. She’s now departing the show after learning more about herself.
