Heather says their daughters bullied Aubreigh, which led to her taking her own life. But these parents say Heather’s posts made people angry at their daughters.

The Tragic Story

Aubreigh Wyatt was just 13 when she died in September 2023. Her mom, Heather, started sharing their story on TikTok to raise awareness about bullying. Heather gained a lot of followers, and many people learned about Aubreigh’s story.

Heather never said the names of the girls she accused of bullying. But people figured out who they were and shared their names and addresses online.

The Bullying Claims

Heather posted videos saying Aubreigh was bullied by one boy and four girls at Ocean Springs Middle School. She shared that Aubreigh had been bullied since the fifth grade and even showed a picture of Aubreigh with a red cheek from being slapped.

Heather shared a screenshot of a text where someone apologized to Aubreigh, but the parents of the girl who sent it say she didn’t slap Aubreigh.

The Lawsuit

The parents of the accused girls say Heather’s posts caused them to get mean messages and threats. They are suing Heather for defamation and slander. They want money for therapy and medical bills for their daughters.

Heather got a legal notice on July 1 telling her to stop posting about the girls. A judge also told her to shut down her social media accounts to protect the girls.

@angel.x.semina Before you comment and ask why this was “somehow caught on video” she was in aubreighs room recording herself go through her belongings before packing them up. She didnt know that she would find that. #justiceforaubreighwyatt #livelikeaubreigh #aubreighwyatt #aubreighwyatt💜🕊️ ♬ sonido original – Tony🔥💧
