Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg appears to have reached new heights in the romance department by ordering a colossus statue of his wife, Priscilla Chan, for his garden.

The billionaire tech, 40, shared a photo of Chan, 39, standing beside her stone counterpart and captioned it: “Reviving the Roman custom of sculpting one’s wife”. And this gesture got social media users abuzz with admiration, and just a touch of envy.

Zuckerberg tapped noted artist Daniel Arsham for the mammoth task. Arsham, who has worked with Pokémon and Tiffany & Co. on projects, brought his signature stamp to the work.

“I’ve long joked about creating a sculpture of her. When the opportunity to collaborate with Arsham arose, I finally did!” Zuckerberg told the New York Post.

The unveiling set the internet abuzz with a lot of reactions. “Husbands everywhere are quaking,” one user quipped. Another mused, “Find yourself a partner who immortalizes you in stone.”

Many were floored by the scale of the artwork, with one commenting, “This will grace a museum someday.” Some quipped about the “billionaire energy” of the gesture.

The romance between the two began all the way back in 2003, when they met in line for the bathroom at a Harvard party. Chan later recalled to The New Yorker, “He was this quirky guy who stood out a bit.”

The Zuckerbergs have been married since 2012 and are raising three daughters: Maxima, August, and Aurelia. Just recently, celebrating the 20th year of this relationship, Mark posted a nostalgic post that recalled the journey of both—once college sweethearts, now tech moguls and parents.

The statue tribute celebrates more than just an enduring partnership but sets new standards for romantic gestures in the digital age.
