Tasha Hall, a talented photographer based in the heart of British Columbia, takes stunning portraits of farm animals living together as a family. She has been creating these unique “Family” portraits for around 8 years and has traveled across North America to capture beautiful shots of farm animals and their owners.
The inspiration behind “Family” Portraits Tasha was inspired by her farm and wanted to capture a portrait that included all her family members. After sharing her first portrait on social media, she received a lot of love and inquiries from other farms wanting their own “Family” portrait. This inspired Tasha to continue her creative journey, and she has since captured breathtaking shots of farm animals living together as a family.
Tasha’s Creative Process Before arriving at a farm, she has the clients fill out a questionnaire that tells her about their farm and animals. This helps her to get an idea of what to expect before the shoot. Once she arrives at the farm, she tours the area and decides where to create the portrait. She then sets up a backdrop and designs the shoot from there. With her creativity and vision, Tasha usually sees the final picture as she puts everything together.
