Being a parent is not an easy task, and I believe that sometimes it can be challenging to shoot photographs of children since they are constantly active and absorbed in their own worlds. I asked Katya if it was difficult to take pictures of Lisa.

“to adhere to her. She moves quite quickly! Because a photo shoot is mostly a game for her, we Don’t make her do anything she doesn’t want to. All of the pictures were taken quickly and randomly.

Lisa’s mother, Katya, responded to several of my inquiries. Given that she is a skilled photographer, I first asked her what kind of photography style she preferred. She responded as follows: “I adore both human and animal photographs.” They have feelings because they are vibrant and alive.”

Naturally, since Katya posts photos of Lisa on social media, different individuals have different emotions towards the images she shares. Here is what Katya said when I asked her about it: Children with Down syndrome are frequently stereotyped as being unattractive and incapable of expressing their emotions. Our page is a revelation for them. They discover that children with special needs are just like other kids; they know how to play, be joyful or sad, and how to Love”

Obviously, Lisa’s lovely photographs and Katya’s adoption narrative are both heartfelt. I wanted to find out from Katya what she wanted readers to take away from this tale.

I want to emphasize that everyone is lovely, regardless of their illnesses or outward appearance.

I enquired as to what motivated Lisa’s mother to start an Instagram account.

People on the street were rude to my daughter. I wanted to change that and prove to people that children with disabilities can be just as wonderful as regular kids.

I also asked Katya about the reasons behind her decision to become a photographer, and she responded as follows:

My primary inspiration is my daughter. At least for the picture, I want to make a fairy tale out of her. We may alter reality by influencing society’s perceptions of people with impairments through images.
