The dog was originally a family member until he became disabled and was later abandoned in their old home with severe health difficulties, according to a post on.
The abandoned puppy was found by the Qua La Zampa Association, a team of volunteers that included Gianna Serena Manfredi, and they gave him the name “Heart.” The Heart was a real fighter and could walk independently despite his advanced age and health problems. The puppy received the love and attention he deserved from Gianna and the other “The Remote Moms” group members as they took turns caring for him.

Heart’s final days were full of love and joy, but regrettably, he only had a year with his new family. When his passing drew close, Gianna chose to accompany him on one more excursion to the sea, where they both took in the splendor of the water and the serenity of the winter solitude. It was a time of genuine rest and joy for Heart.
Their Heart went away painlessly soon after the trip, aware of everyone’s love and devotion for him. Heart’s abandonment by his first family is tragic, but knowing that he eventually found a loving family is consoling.
