Olive Woodward and Kathleen Saville, two best friends who have been together for nearly 80 years, are inseparable. When they were both 11 years old and seated next to one another in class at Ravenshead School in Nottingham in 1941, they first got to know one another. The two grew close right away and maintained their friendship even after getting married and starting their own families.

The two women had experienced a variety of difficulties in life, including losing their spouses. Olive’s husband passed away in 2004, while Kathleen’s husband died in 1989. The pals continued communicating and hanging out despite living alone after their losses.

Kathleen moved into Berry Hill Park in Mansfield last year. Olive just moved into the same nursing facility with her best buddy after deciding to join them after some time alone. The oldest residents, two women, claim to feel and look considerably younger than their 89 years. They attribute their enduring friendship to never fighting and always being honest with one another.

The two closest pals have earned the reputation of being “friendship goals” among many individuals. They are inseparable and often make each other laugh. Although they occasionally act mischievously, according to Kathleen, they never cause any mischief at the care facility. She even admits to racing them down the corridor to make one of the supervisors chuckle.

We are all inspired by Kathleen Saville and Olive Woodward. Their lasting friendship serves as a reminder that true friends are there for one another no matter what. We may all take inspiration from their example and work to uphold solid relationships with our own friends and family members.
